Welcome to Salt N Glow — Face + Body ("Salt N Glow," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at salt-n-glow.web.app and your engagement with our esthetician services. By booking an appointment, using our website, or otherwise engaging with Salt N Glow, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Nature of Services

Salt N Glow provides professional esthetician services, including but not limited to facials, body contouring treatments, LED light therapy, and cosmetic enhancements. All services are performed by Cristal Gonzalez, a Licensed Esthetician in the State of Texas.

Our services are cosmetic and esthetic in nature and are not medical treatments. Salt N Glow does not provide medical advice, medical diagnoses, or medical treatment of any kind. Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have a medical concern related to your skin or body, we recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare provider before booking a service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to book and receive services independently. Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the consultation and treatment, and a signed parental consent form is required prior to any service being performed.

3. Booking & Appointments

All appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. By booking an appointment with Salt N Glow, you agree to the following:

• Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service.
• Confirmation: You will receive an appointment confirmation via text message or email. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of your appointment details.
• Punctuality: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to accommodate subsequent appointments. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans change. However, last-minute cancellations and no-shows prevent us from serving other clients. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with 24 or more hours' notice will allow you to reschedule without penalty; however, your deposit is non-refundable.
• Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to show up for your appointment, your 40% deposit will be forfeited in full.
• After-Hours Booking Fee: Appointments requested or booked outside of regular business hours are subject to an additional $25.00 after-hours fee. This fee is non-refundable.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment for services is due at the time of your appointment, unless otherwise arranged in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of booking. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. Updated pricing will be communicated before your appointment.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible experience and results, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your health history, skin conditions, allergies, medications, and any prior cosmetic treatments during your consultation.
• Disclose any known sensitivities or adverse reactions to skin care products, ingredients, or treatments.
• Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions provided by Salt N Glow.
• Immediately notify your esthetician of any discomfort or adverse reaction during a treatment.

7. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

By receiving services from Salt N Glow, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Assumption of Risk: Esthetician services, including facials, body contouring, LED therapy, and enhancements, carry inherent risks including but not limited to skin irritation, redness, swelling, bruising, allergic reactions, hyperpigmentation, and other temporary or lasting skin changes. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the services you receive.
• No Guarantee of Results: Salt N Glow makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the specific outcomes or results of any treatment. Results vary from individual to individual based on factors including skin type, health conditions, lifestyle, and adherence to post-treatment care instructions.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salt N Glow, its owner, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, including but not limited to personal injury, dissatisfaction with results, or any adverse reaction to treatment. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salt N Glow, Cristal Gonzalez, and any employees or contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final once a service has been performed. Refunds are not provided for completed services. If you are dissatisfied with your experience, we encourage you to contact us so that we can work with you to address your concerns. Refund requests for unused services or products will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Salt N Glow website and social media channels, including but not limited to the Salt N Glow name, logo, brand marks, photographs, graphics, text, videos, and other creative materials, is the exclusive property of Salt N Glow and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publish, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written permission from Salt N Glow. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

10. Website Use

By accessing and using the Salt N Glow website, you agree to the following:

• You will not use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the website.
• You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website, its servers, or any systems or networks connected to the website.

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Salt N Glow's services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Galveston County, Texas, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Salt N Glow directly. We are committed to resolving concerns in good faith and in a timely manner.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Salt N Glow with respect to your use of our services and website, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, and understandings, whether written or oral.
